Simple Things |
Daily happenings, hopes and harps. This is for my friends, but it's about me. Narcissistic, I know. |
So, when you have a life like I have (working mostly sporadically at a restaurant, freelance work during the day, mostly just maintaining the rest of the time), you can plan your life to never get too hectic. But yesterday seemed like so much happened. And it kinda stressed me out. But in a good way. Welcome to the real world, Becs.
Morning:
-Got a call for a second interview
-Did some research/freelance work stuffs
Afternoon:
-2pm: Lunch and tea with an old friend
-4:30pm: Head out to the west side of town to do my weekly jog with Mel
-6:30pm: Head back east to pick up dog (snowing, streetcar detour, kill me)
-7:15pm: Pick up dog and head right back west from where I came (I WANT A CAR)
-8pm: Gone so far west, but need to head south, street is all mashed, must walk
-8:20pm: Meet Boysie, the man you might cure my pup Lucy of all that ails her
-9:30pm: Leave Boysie, leave Lucy (tear), head back west
-10:00pm: Miss bus home, must walk, meet Dan for beer and salad.
Day is done. Well, writing it all down makes it look like I did hardly anything, but believe me, it felt CRAZY. Okay, i need to get a life.
